Around Madison on the City Trail

Today, we switched from the long-stay hotel in the suburbs to one night in a nice hotel near State Street and the campus. We packed everything in the car, parked on a residential street, and rode on eighteen miles of well-marked paths that wound through the city. 36 miles, but mostly flat and wooded.
